Better Care is an exceptional home healthcare agency offering high quality,
coordinated clinical and personal care services to clients in Central Massachusetts.
Our guiding principle is a “One Patient, One Nurse” approach that promotes continuity in patients’ care regimens and trusting, compassionate relationships
with their healthcare providers.
Better Care was founded by husband-and-wife team Melissa and Craig Cote in 2011, on the belief that familiarity promotes healing.
A registered nurse of more than 20 years, Melissa managed heavy caseloads in hospital settings before going into home healthcare. Her desire to form a deeper connection with patients and to provide them with truly personalized, attentive healthcare services led the Cotes to establish their own agency with a focus on continuity of care.
Owner and Administrator Craig Cote brings 24 years of experience in business administration to Better Care. He oversees the company’s day-to-operations, making sure it meets the highest standards of care and ensuring its financial health and longevity.
The cornerstone of Better Care is its One Patient, One Nurse policy. This guiding principle ensures that patients and their loved ones work with only one or two home healthcare nurses at a time, promoting consistent, high-quality home healthcare that is second to none.
Better Care is committed to serving our community with professional, individualized and compassionate healthcare services that prioritize continuity of care in accordance with our “One Patient, One Nurse” model.
We also strive to help clients maintain their independence and attain optimal quality of life through education and effective utilization of community resources.
We believe that providing exceptional care means attending to the full spectrum of each and every client’s needs: medical, emotional, behavioral, social and developmental.
That’s why we deliver expert, coordinated healthcare from professionals across disciplines, from skilled nursing to social work.
We offer a full, multi-disciplinary range of reliable services to treat the whole patient, from skilled nursing to speech therapy.
One of the leading causes of hospital readmission is the lack of proper support following a hospital discharge.
